Tehuacán is located southeast of the State of Puebla, its average altitude is 1640m; with an anual average temperature oscilating between 18° y 22° C. The weather is warm, semidry, with a few rains during the summer season. The City played a very important roll worldwide during the domestication and harvest process of corn.
